Cyna vs Better Proposals
The AI is built in.

Better Proposals’ answer to AI is a guide to prompting ChatGPT in another tab, and its branding is a logo upload and a hex code. Cyna drafts in your voice and reads your brand off your site.

Why teams switch

Three reasons teams move to Cyna.

The writing, the brand, and the billing.

The draft writes itself

Their own AI page teaches you to prompt ChatGPT in another tab and paste the result in. Cyna drafts scope, timeline and pricing in your firm’s voice from proposals you have already sent.

Brand without a hex code

Better Proposals asks you to upload a PNG and type a colour value. Cyna reads your homepage at signup for logo, colours and fonts, then shows you the guess to confirm.

Billing that keeps going

They take a fixed amount or a percentage at signature, and recurring is a manual step in Stripe afterwards. Cyna runs deposit, milestone, project and retainer schedules from the accepted proposal.

The real difference

Your voice and brand, on day one.

Neither is a setting you fill in.

Read off your website
One safety-guarded homepage read pulls your logo, palette and fonts, then shows you what it found to confirm.
Drafted in your voice
Scope, timeline and pricing written the way your firm writes, grounded in past proposals rather than a prompt.
Wireframe or dressed
Structure and style are separate layers, so you can check the argument before you look at the design.

FAQ

Cyna vs Better Proposals, answered.

Not in the product. Their page titled "AI Proposal Generator" is a walkthrough for prompting ChatGPT in a separate tab and pasting the output into one of their templates. The AI that runs inside their product is a Document Checker that scores a finished proposal before you send it.

For the writing and the money. Their entry seat is $13 a month billed annually and the plan most agencies buy is $21, against Cyna at $25 and $49. The difference buys a draft in your firm’s voice instead of a blank template, brand read off your website, and deposit, milestone and retainer billing with a frozen invoice from the same record.

Theirs are metered: Starter is one seat and 10 documents a month, Premium is 50, and only Enterprise is unlimited. Cyna does not meter sends.

Better Proposals needs the Premium plan for multiple signers and Enterprise for a signing order. Cyna includes multi-signatory with an all-or-any policy on every plan; sequential signer routing is on our roadmap.

Their template library is bigger — 260-plus written and designed templates against Cyna’s, which grow from your own wins — and their support and post-signature onboarding sequences are genuinely good. Weigh that against never starting from a blank page.
